Zephyr & Bloom 15 Year Old 2007 - Wemyss Malts (Dailuaine)
A 2007 vintage Dailuaine single malt here, aged in a sherry butt and bottled up by Wemyss Malts who called this one Zephyr & Bloom. That's because the bottler thinks this one is "brimming with orchard fruits - green apples and buttery baked pears", adding that it's "airy and light".
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Bold fruits, green orchards, pear and apple juice, strawberries & cream.
Palate
Fruits continue, baked buttery pears, gentle cereal character builds into vanilla and icing sugar.
Finish
Short to medium, white pepper, vanilla, red apples, and pencil shavings.
