Dailuaine 9 Year Old Amontillado Cask Finish (Darkness)
A delight from Dailuaine, brought to us by indie bottler Darkness! This Speyside single malt spent nine years maturing, finishing with a stay in a host of teeny amontillado sherry octaves. Smaller casks allow greater interaction between whisky and wood, and you'll find lip-smacking layers of yeasty malt, candied nuts, and dark chocolate here. A release of 340 bottles.

Nose
Dynamic and spicy, with hints of dark soy and hazelnuts.
Palate
Salted caramel, fresh yeast, dark chocolate and plums.
Finish
Nutty, sweet and spicy. Umami effect demands another sip.
