Distilled at Speyside's Dailuaine in 2009, this single malt spent its time maturing in a bourbon hogsheads, before finishing in first fill Sauternes dessert wine casks! After 12 years, the whisky was bottled up by Murray McDavid as part of its Benchmark collection.
Toasted walnut loaf, bold malt, and sweet sultanas.
Meaty malt, oat and raisin biscuits, and currant buns with cinnamon.
Vanilla and more vegetal malt, caramelised nuts, a touch of buttered popcorn with just a pinch of salt.
