Distilled at Speyside's Dailuaine in 2009, this single malt spent its time maturing in a bourbon hogsheads, before finishing in first fill Sauternes dessert wine casks! After 12 years, the whisky was bottled up by Murray McDavid as part of its Benchmark collection.
Nose Toasted walnut loaf, bold malt, and sweet sultanas.
Palate Meaty malt, oat and raisin biscuits, and currant buns with cinnamon.
