Delicious Dailuaine! This is an indie bottling of 12 year old single malt from the Dailuaine Distillery, initially matured in a bourbon hogshead before being moved over to a first-fill Pedro Ximénez hogshead for 18 months. Just 270 bottles were produced.
An appetising juxtaposition of meaty malt and red berries.
Polished oak, fruity sherry and some dark chocolate bitterness.
Slightly nutty on the finish with pecan pie and roasted peanuts.
