Dailuaine aged for a dozen years, independently bottled by The Single Cask here. It was distilled back in March 2007 and set aside to mature for 12 years, until August 2019, when it was bottled up at cask strength. 279 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
A big helping of ginger root on the nose, tempered by brown sugar and a touch of oily oak.
Palate
Milky coffee, more resinous oak, caramel and Seville marmalade.
Finish
Enjoyably warming and maybe a bit smoky on the finish.
