Joining The Cooper's Choice series from The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. is this 11-year-old Dailuaine, distilled in 2011. The Speyside single malt matured in American oak to start with, and finished aging in a ruby Port cask for some fresh berry notes. A limited outturn of 354 bottles, naturally coloured and non-chill filtered.
Red fruits are joined by vanilla sponge cake, and cinnamon spice.
Dried currants and cherries, with baked plum, some spiced syrup, and milk chocolate.
Peppery spices, with some tart redcurrant jelly.
