“Brought a bottle after a tour of the Talisker distillary oddly enough. completely differant flavour to my usual preferance, im very much into my Laphroaig. But this was Very smooth, and VERY warm, and whilst the sherry essence and the fruit flavours are right there from the start, they are not overpowering. Quite possibly my second favourite malt, and not that pricey either.”

Outstanding in every way. And, I agree, let's keep this one quiet . . .
I made this discovery 2 years ago and have kept quiet until now. A smoothly classic Speyside with more body than most , a nice history around the brand but hard to find in retail so buy it when you see it - or better still order it here !
Can everyone please stop giving this 5 stars? Before we know it, it will double in price and sell out. I wanted to give 1 star to throw people off the scent but in good conscience, I just can't. This is a very fine whisky and has become one of my regular favourites. Well balanced, smooth, tasty and good value for money. This is one of the few whiskies that I introduce to my whisky hating friends and they enjoy it. Keep it on the down low!
I bought this at the distillery in Pitlochry. Fabulous dram. Well worth a try!
Rich and flavorful. Long complicated finish. Sweet but not overwhelming.
