Daftmill 2009 (cask 046/2009) - Single Cask 70cl Whisky

Something special here – a single cask release from celebrated seasonal farm distillery Daftmill. Matured in a first fill ex-oloroso butt for over 12 years, it was selected for bottling in 2021, which is great news all round! The variety of barley used here was Optic, harvested at the end of August 2006 and malted the following summer, before distillation and filling in the summer of 2009.

With the distillery filling as few as 100 casks a year, and far, far fewer sherry casks, this release of 700 bottles is a real treat. Just look at it!
