Daftmill 2005 - Inaugural Release
The Daftmill distillery has finally released its very first whisky! Founded back in 2005, its Lowland single malt has been of age for a while, and many have wondered when Daftmill whisky would make its way into bottles - but the wait is over. Made with Chariot barley grown on the Daftmill farm, this whisky was distilled in 2005, matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled at cask strength in 2018. Only 629 bottles of the Daftmill Inaugural Release were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Honeycomb, flapjacks, cloudy lemonade and hot cider.
Palate
Creamy barley notes arrive on the palate first, shortly followed by malty chocolate, rye bread and waxy apple peels.
Finish
Butterscotch with a slight fresh mint note underneath.
