Light, gentle. Cut herbs, floral, custard, hay.
Rounded, mixed peels, lots of barley.

I've been a Cuddy Sark fan close to fifty years.
One of the good blends. If I am at a loss to decide which one to pick from the store, I pick up Cutty. You can never go wrong with this one.
I stick to what I know but I was introduced to this whisky, and really enjoyed it. I am drinking it at the moment. Not my favorite but worth the money, especially for someone starting out in drinking whisky.

Cutty sark is one of those blends that have stood the test of time and trends, a bit like ballantine's finest and teacher's (much more more in common tastewise with ballantine's though than teacher's which is a very meaty kind of blend)and probably will continue to stick around...Deservedly so. Sometimes you just can't beat something pretty ubiquitous,"Granddaddyish" and reasonably straightforward.
