A very popular blend, particularly on the American market, started by Berry Bros & Rudd and named for the tea clipper Cutty Sark, said to be the fastest of its time.
Light, gentle. Cut herbs, floral, custard, hay.
Rounded, mixed peels, lots of barley.
Good length, warming, malt.

I really enjoy this blend especially for the price, after drinking nothing but; peaty, smoky whisky it was very pleasant. I get biscuit bread with honey and grass.
Used to say: 100% scotch whiskys. Now. Who knows?
For a scotch I have to say...it won't be as easy to please.I get clean citrus,hints of vanilla and wood,kind of grassy.This does have a bitter tone to it in addition with the alcohol.This sounds like a spring or summertime scotch but trust me...it's got the warmth for cold nights!
Jazz age classic is great with soda as a highball. Not as good as Kukubin or Artists Blend but at the price is VERY good value. Soda and ice brings out cheesecake and almonds. Really refreshing.
Good stuff, reminds me of Famous Grouse, but smoother, less grainy. I need a budget Scotch, and Cutty is the best of the bottom shelf. Better than Johnnie Red, Duggan, and several others I've tried. I also drink Finlaggon Single Malt from Trader Joes, and this will be a good change of pace and blend. Taste is mellow, yet flavorful. They are right. You want to drink more, surprisingly good finish, no alcohol, vanilla, and caramel.
