Sherry
How did this Craigellachie get so dark without artificial colouring? Ah, it's been given the Darkness! treatment - at least 6 months spent in a fresh specially coopered 50 litre Sherry cask!
Cider-braised ham, honey and lemon lozenges and creamy bilberries.
Mouth coating apples in honey with chocolate dates and some sliced almond emerging.
Syrupy dark fruit with citrus hints.

It's like being punched in the face with a sherry-soaked rag. Just incredible.
