This single malt from Speyside's Cragellachie distillery has been treated to a finish in a peated Islay whisky cask, bringing a smoky twist to its core of tropical fruits and honey. Matured for a total of eight years, 209 bottles join the Rare Cask Finish collection from GreatDrams.
Expect luscious waves of pineapple syrup sweetness up front, wrapped in Craigellachie’s signature meaty, weighty texture. But then — wait for it — that brooding peat smoke rises, slow and smouldering, lingering long after the last sip.
