Independently bottled single malt from the cracking Craigellachie Distillery, aged in a single bourbon cask from May 2011 to June 2019. After maturation, this one was bottled by the folks from Douglas Laing as part of the Provenance series, with a small outturn of only 324 bottles.
Banana bread with salted butter, walnuts and a hint of strawberry ice cream.
Chocolatey at first, before heavy notes of barley and toasted almonds develop.
Caramel, exotic spices and a hint of forest floor.
