Single malt Craigellachie whisky, distilled in Speyside in 1997 and matured in first fill Sherry Hogsheads. In 2013, it was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of their Connoisseurs Choice range.
Exotic notes of coconut and kiwi. Vanilla and toasty, smoky malt later on.
Warming notes of chilli spice, sweet fruit jams and tobacco.
A long finish.
Very well balanced throughout.
