Single malt Craigellachie whisky, distilled in Speyside in 1997 and matured in first fill Sherry Hogsheads. In 2013, it was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of their Connoisseurs Choice range.
Nose: Exotic notes of coconut and kiwi. Vanilla and toasty, smoky malt later on.
Palate: Warming notes of chilli spice, sweet fruit jams and tobacco.
Finish: A long finish.
Overall: Very well balanced throughout.
