Craigellachie 15 Year Old 2006 (cask 15424) - Old Particular The Midnight Series (Douglas Laing)
Cracking Craigellachie single malt, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular Midnight Series. This expression was finished in a single sherry butt, and bottled in December 2021 at 57.9% ABV, with 625 bottles produced. The Midnight Series is all about sherried expressions, so expect a good helping of dried fruit and festive spice from this one.

Nose
Blueberry pancakes, raisins, a smidge of old leather.
Palate
Softly toasty, with chocolatey hints developing and a crackle of cinnamon.
Finish
Butterscotch, molasses, and gingerbread.
