Description
One of 25 new single malts bottled for Hunter Laing's Old Malt Cask 25th anniversary range, this Craigellachie single malt was aged for 14 years in a single red wine barrique and is presented at 50% ABV without chill-filtration or additional colouring. A release of 292 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Red fruits, roasted chestnuts, and smoked ham.
Palate
Raspberry jam and honey with a lovely mineral/meaty note.
Finish
Very long with cocoa and French oak spice.
