That Boutique-y Whisky Company is back with a 14th batch of Craigellachie single malt, and this 13-year-old offering is another cracker. The Speyside-based distillery is renowned for being one of the few remaining that still use a worm tub condenser, which, coupled with long fermentation, gives its whisky that meaty, robust character that makes it so flipping delicious. Contrary to what the label might imply, these characteristics are not achieved by filling the tub with real, giant worms.
Batch 14 is a release of 446 bottles.
