Ooh, Craigellachie has gone and made a rather intriguing expression here – a single malt Scotch whisky finished in Bas-Armagnac casks! You don't see that very often at all! Inspired by the distillery's use of worm tub condensers, this expression shows off the spirit's familiarly bold profile that is imparted by said condensers in all its glory.

Nectarine, flamed orange peel, toffee pennies, a hint of tobacco.
Fragrant wood with a touch of smoke to it, mellowed by vanilla tablet and shortbread. A good crackle of peppercorn and some oily malt.

Never had Craigellachie before and didn’t know what to expect, but I have to say this Bas-Armagnac expression is absolutely delightful. I would definitely buy again.
I found this whisky to be one of the best I have ever tried! This is absolutely superb, I purchased this as a replacement for my first one and I shared that with good friends. This, I am afraid, could very well be a regular purchase for me!
