Single cask Craigellachie single malt, aged in a bourbon hogshead for 13 years! This was distilled in June 2003 and bottled in July 2016 by the chaps from A. D. Rattray for their Cask Collection range with a small outturn of 310 bottles.
Apple pie and custard, cocoa powder and a little dollop of honey.
Toasted pine nuts leading into charred oak. Pineapple and dried mango. Drying cinnamon.
Lingering oak-y notes and maple syrup sweetness.
