Description

Indie Craigellachie here, brought to us as part of the Living Souls collection. This whisky spent a dozen years maturing in a selection of first-fill sherry hogsheads, bringing sweet notes of buttery pastry and caramelised sugar for a rich, full-bodied, classic Craigellachie.

Little a fresh pastry

Lovely dram. If you could drink a French patisserie this is what it would taste like. A warm flaky pain au raisin. Sherry casks have influenced the whisky, but not too much. Still has the grilled pineapple notes you would expect from Craigellachie.
