Rum Finish
A rather unique indie Craigellachie here, distilled in 2010 and finished for 24 months in French oak puncheons that previously held Cognac, and then Guyanese pot still rum! It was bottled by Càrn Mòr in 2023 for the Strictly Limited series, with an outturn of 1,358 bottles released.
Bittersweet dark chocolate, dried mango, and oily malt.
Fried banana, roasted coffee bean, and a dash of treacle.
Toasted hazelnut and cooked pineapple linger.
