Craigellachie 10 Year Old – Batch 8 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) (37.5cl)
Independently bottled single malt from the cracking Craigellachie Distillery, matured for ten years before That Boutique-y Whisky Company came along and bottled it up (in 375ml bottles, no less!). The label features an homage to the worm tubs used at the distillery, which contribute to its distinctive character – it's a robust whisky, with a somewhat heavy and powerful flavour profile. That being said, we're pretty sure worm tubs are actually just giant barrels were a big ol' worm has made a home, which seems to be what the Boutique-y team thinks, judging by the label. It's probably just a joke though. Right? Right?!
Batch 8 is a release of 5,173 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
