This is an independent bottling of single malt from the Craigellachie distillery, released as part of Mossburn's Vintages Casks range. It was allowed to mature from 2007 to 2017, before Mossburn got its hands on it (while waiting for the Torabhaig whisky to come of age!).
Rock pools, poached pear, cantaloupe and brown sugar.
Nutty barley kicks things off, combined with caramel and dry grass.
Citrus oil and a few floral hints linger.
