This was distilled at Craigellachie in 2000 and it was bottled in 2011 by Berry Brothers and Rudd. Incredibly malty and biscuity!
Hints of smoke atop a superbly biscuity, rich malt the likes of which are unique to Speyside whiskies of this age. Intense and quite sweet and creamy, with dried apricots developing.
Well rounded and rich, with notes of malt and peach, a little toffee apple and gingernut biscuit.
Good length with hints of hazelnut and beautiful barley sweetness right up until the very end.
