Single cask Cragganmore - not a common sight, as much of their spirit makes its way into blends. This one was particularly well-aged, being distilled in Jun 1986 and maturing in a refill hogshead for 30 years, until January 2017. 167 bottles were produced for Hunter Laing's Old & Rare Platinum range.
Sugared peels, herbaceous oak, floral malt and spicy rye.
Honey'd cereals, shortly followed by rich cream and poached pear. Slight mineral-forward smokiness.
Waxy fruit, mint leaf.
