Bourbon
30 year old Cragganmore single malt, independently bottled by A.D. Rattray for their very handsome Vintage Cask Collection. This was distilled in June 1986 and left to mature for three decades in a bourbon hogshead until February 2017, when it was bottled with an outturn of only 161 bottles.
Oodles of tropical fruit sweetness (papaya, guava and pineapple), joined by hints of thyme honey, rye grain and olive oil.
Toasted malt, nectarines, beeswax, a touch of smoke.
Lingering vanilla and menthol.
