28 year old Cragganmore single malt, independently bottled by the marvellous Duncan Taylor! This was distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2017 following 3 months in an octave cask (they're very small). Only 48 bottles were produced (like we said, octave casks are rather small indeed).
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Meaty malt with a honey glaze, a touch of zesty citrus, chocolate truffles.
Palate
Sherried elements pick up on the palate - thick red fruit and Christmas spices.
Finish
Peppery and long. Mature oak stays at the fore.
