28 year old Cragganmore single malt, independently bottled by the marvellous Duncan Taylor! This was distilled in 1988 and bottled in 2017 following 3 months in an octave cask (they're very small). Only 48 bottles were produced (like we said, octave casks are rather small indeed).
Nose Meaty malt with a honey glaze, a touch of zesty citrus, chocolate truffles.
Palate Sherried elements pick up on the palate - thick red fruit and Christmas spices.
Finish Peppery and long. Mature oak stays at the fore.
