From Hunter Laing's book-inspired First Edition range comes a 26 year old single malt from Cragganmore! It was distilled back in 1995 and matured for over quarter of a century before finally being drawn from a single sherry butt in 2022. Just 300 bottles were produced. You don't see a whole lot of indie Cragganmore these days, do you?
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cherry loaf cake, melted butter, spicy oak, and new leather.
Palate
More spicy hints of cedar and walnut, plus layers of red fruit and milk chocolate.
Finish
White pepper, raisins, and cinnamon.
