The Cragganmore Distillers Editions spend a finishing period in casks that previously held Port wine, adding extra fruitiness to the whisky. The 2015 release was distilled in 2003.
Spicy red fruits, raspberry and black pepper (not hot), gingerbread too.
Creamy and Sherried with thick honey, orange, sticky raisins and fresh strawberries.
Lots of oak on the finish, with an increasing fruity tang and sweet Nice biscuits on further sips.

A delightful quaffer. The port clearly evident on the nose and I thought the palate had a lovely peppery sting to complement the marmalade and raisin taste. Good for a warmer at the end of a day
Amazing taste. Hard to find, but soooo worth it!!!!
