Very exciting stuff here, folks! This is the first single malt whisky from the Cotswolds Distillery (as well as being the first single malt whisky ever distilled in the Cotswold countryside!). A much-anticipated release, which has been produced using barley grown in the Cotswolds, distilled in their Forsyths copper pot stills (Mary & Janis) and aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and red wine casks. We've been eagerly awaiting this whisky, and we know plenty of you have been too!
The first thing you notice are spicy cereal notes, malt and porridge, then comes the fruit - orange peel and lemon. Grassy and floral flavours followed by marzipan.
Beautiful texture, creamy and round, with sweet citrus fruit and black pepper.
Good length. There’s vanilla custard and a lift of aromatic freshness that will make you want another sip.

Just a drop in my local pub, I found it a bit sweet around the edges, but it's nice and warming, just the right amount of spice, perphas a touch of ice may loosen it up a bit and smooth it out.
Easy drinking, light whiskey. Not very complex, light nose, tasty palate but quick finish and unfortunately quite forgettable. I really wanted to love this whiskey after I tried their Founders edition which is amazing and I highly recommend. Just felt very disappointed in this bottle and wish I paid the extra £20 for the founders edition. I felt maybe the 5star reviews were more a sign of national pride over substance! However for an easy drinking light whisky its just ok..
Forget brands, high prices, blah blah blah. This is bang up there and at a very reasonable price. Could drink a bottle in one go
Very smooth and rounded. Sampled a 50ml bottle from Burford Garden Center,a perfect way to enjoy a taster around the fire on cold Sunday evening. Keep the good work up, very satisfied customer .
I bought my first bottle some weeks ago and it did not last long! It will not be my last. This is now one of a number of favourites.
