Cooper King Embers Wood Smoke + Corn Single Malt Whisky - Expedition Series Autumn 2024
This English single malt joins the Expedition Series from Yorkshire's net zero Cooper King distillery. It's produced from floor-malted heritage grains, hand-mashed, long-fermented, and copper pot distilled before maturing on site. 68% of the spirit was filled into dark-fired bourbon casks, while the remainder began in red wine casks, and finished in bourbon casks to create a vibrant whisky with the perfect profile for sipping beside a fire.

Nose
Notes of banana bread and dark cherry chocolate join earthy, woody spice beneath.
Palate
Toffee apple joins soft notes of charred oak, smoked caramel, and cakey spice.
Finish
Warming spices linger with silky toffee and a touch of black tea.
