This was distilled at Convalmore in 1981, and aged for 17 years before bottling by Gordon and MacPhail in 1998 for their Connoisseurs Choice range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sweet and spicy with notes of plum wine, kirsch, pepper, hints of oak, smoke, a little calves leather and fishing tackle boxes.

Palate: Slightly smoky with a pleasing sherried sweetness. Notes of cut grass, toffee apples, a touch of cloves and nutmeg.

Finish: Cereal sweetness, boot polish, sherried peels, sultanas and a hint of smoke on the tail.
