Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

TCP, heather and phenols reek off the surface of this peat-bomb! Followed by brine, vanilla and dry hay on the palate. The finish is long - way beyond that of a whisky of this age. Phenomenal stuff!

Up there with the best

Absolutely amazing, slow smooth orgasm in the mouth, smoke, peat and lace, tasted many whiskeys over the years but this at cask strength is absolute class!

Worth the search!

What a great surprise picking this up in Amsterdam. Strong peat flavor with a middle of chocolate....although they do t list it.

Best neat

A wonderful peaty whiskey, a match for the best of Islay. But adding water seems to diminish its flavour. Its the only whisky I prefer neat. A shame it was a limited run as it is now very hard to obtain.

Fantastic!

Managed to find a bottle of this in one of my local pubs.
Fantastic dram.
Soft sweet peaty nose transforms into an explosion of peat and zesty fruit on the taste.
Would love more.

Oh boy..

This is a whiskey like a harmony, pure peated lyrics, with a rousing chorus to match. Lingering finish. Gorgeous

Woooow there! You seem to have left quite a few of these Mike!!! Sorry your reviews weren't approved sooner (they do have to be approved by the way) but you're beginning to make us feel a bit like Kevin! It's scary...

Fantastic Whiskey!

The Peatiest expression of an Irish Peated Single Malt ever bottled. This super premium whiskey is bottled at Cask strength with no chill filtration, providing consumers seeking heavily Peated Single Malts a new taste opportunity.

Irish Peat at its Best!

The best so far from Connemara. I am truly impressed. With a bit of luck this will not be a limited edn for long but find its place in the Connemara family for good, I wish anyway...
