Teaninich 8 Year Old (Release 4) - Concept 8 Reviews

Bang for your buck!

I thought concept 8. 40.8%. Looks like its got caramel in it. Probably chill filtered. For a foreign market who are traditionally not big whisky drinkers - probably terrible - I'll regret buying this. Damn was I wrong!

Nose: straw, butter, honey a bit of malt. Understated.
Palate: toffee, soft fruits, a little shoe leather, bees wax. Is that some Christmas cake developing? Sweet yet balanced, full bodied and eminently quaffable.
Finish: gentle but not weak. Sweet. Somewhat warming.
