This is a very nice drop i have to say.
A nice dram of farmhouse fruits and bourbon barrel notes of honey, a little sweet vanilla and a nice malt backbone. This is a very nice drop i have to say. good medium allspice finish with just a splash of cream on the back palate near ending. Oak is well controlled and its got a bit of complexity to it.
This is a whisky most will buy again.

I haven't found a mediocre compass box so far :) !!!!!
Mixed fresh fruit flavours. Wood spice builds over time, but doesn't ever get really spicy. The waxy note from the nose is still there.Finish is resurgence of fruit flavours which dies off and gives way to drying oak. Black pepper spice. Apple peel predominant.

Shhhh keep it a secret!
I have tried a lot of the Compass Box line, and have always had a great respect for their quality and candidness for revealing blending recipes of all of their products.
I won't get into tasting notes as that can be subjective at best, but this is a really really nice dram. I tend to lean towards Islay Whiskies but I needed to round out the cupboard for when company comes over. The only problem is now I'm drinking this one all myself and need to source out another bottle!

Complexity and great style in this one!
Wonderfully complex and highly appealing blended malt. Fragrant Fruits, apple, pear, and honey on the nose. The palate revealing itself with every sip in allspice, currant, apple, toffee, and a nice smooth malty mouthfeel. Finishes quite well with more fruit, spices, and ginger note. This one will be permanently in the collection.
