Single Malt

A very rare bottling of Coleburn's single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1972 and bottled in 1993 by Gordon & MacPhail for the Connoisseurs Choices range. A little-known distillery in Speyside, Coleburn was one of the many Scotch whisky distilleries closed in the 1980s.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!

Nose- Strawberry and toffee? Taste - Sharpish oranges, almost sweet and woody but very fresh for its age. Solid Medium finish that leaves no burn. Hey, make no mistake this is quaffable. That’s not neccesarily a good thing. I like a whisky to last me a while, especially ones that are hard to come by. If I can find another then I’d buy if not, I kinda regret opening.
