Description
Another one of Wemyss' tasty releases with equally tasty names, this single cask release of Clynelish was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2013, where it was christened 'Toffee Glaze'. 258 bottles of this yummy treat were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toffee glaze? Check. Praline too, salted caramel and plenty of banoffee pie developing! Satsuma, lemon sponge, nutmeg. Twix bars with a little water.
Palate
Orange oil, oak and wood spices with orange Club biscuits.
Finish
Walnut, a touch of zesty marmalade, toast and allspice.
