Single cask Clynelish, independently bottled by Signatory for their excellent Un-Chillfiltered Collection. This was aged in a refill butt cask for 20 years, from December 1996 to March 2017, before being bottled at 46% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Waxy peels, driftwood, Sesame Snaps and intense ground ginger.
Palate
A hint of smoke arrives first, though sweetness of vanilla and chocolate digestives soon takes over.
Finish
Dates and dried pear. A hint of cumin.
