Sherry
A 20 year old Clynelish, aged in a refill Sherry butt from September 1995 to August 2016. Following that maturation, the folks from Signatory bottled up the whisky for their Cask Strength Collection with an outturn of 613 bottles.
Salted butter on brown bread, caramel with raisins and redcurrants.
Flamed orange peel, thick Oloroso sweetness and a lingering touch of smoky oak.
Lingering oily malt and some fruit elements later on.

Well balanced with a dry sherry sweetness that shows better when slightly watered down. Would definetly buy again.
