A 20 year old Clynelish, matured in a single Sherry butt cask. This was distilled in September 1995 and bottled two decades later by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection. 601 bottles were produced.
Nose: Cigar box smokiness, with a suggestion of coastal air. Soon gives way to walnuts, dates and a touch of dark chocolate.
Palate: Sponge cake, poached pear, more juicy date and mint.
Finish: Waxy orange peels, chamomile and vanilla cream.
