Description
A 20 year old Clynelish, matured in a single Sherry butt cask. This was distilled in September 1995 and bottled two decades later by Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection. 601 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cigar box smokiness, with a suggestion of coastal air. Soon gives way to walnuts, dates and a touch of dark chocolate.
Palate
Sponge cake, poached pear, more juicy date and mint.
Finish
Waxy orange peels, chamomile and vanilla cream.
