A Spirits' Shop Selection bottling of Clynelish single malt, distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2017 as part of the Cellar Book collection for La Maison du Whisky. It was distilled in 1997 and set aside to age in a single hogshead cask until 2017, when it was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 261 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Lemon, sea salt, mustard seed and a touch of caraway.
Palate
Refreshingly fruit-forward, with hints of green apple and strawberry. Soon enough, you'll find warming smoke and ginger root spiciness.
Finish
A touch of ash lingers on the finish.
