18 year old single malt from the excellent Clynelish distillery, much loved by whisky enthusiasts. This was distilled in May 1998 and matured in hogshead #7781 until May 2016, when the fine folks at Signatory put their skills to bottling this wonderful Highland whisky.
Nose Chocolate biscuits, bread-'n'-butter and fresh fruit. A touch of sea salt.
Palate Oily, with barley, citrus peels and some black liquorice.
Finish Light spices and smoky black tea.
