Northern Highlands distillery Clynelish distilled this single malt Scotch whisky in 1997. 15 years later, Berry Bros. & Rudd swooped in a bottled the single cask whisky. Good work all round!
An ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and DANGEROUSLY DRINKABLE Whisky featuring a lovely and subtle zestiness, hints of Orange, an oily/minerally/slightly salty combo and just the right amount of soft white pepper in the finish. A persistent, fresh, fruity/coastal, moreish and "naked" style of Clynelish really close to the distillate rather than to the wood! EXCELLENT! S.
