Bourbon
An Ian Macleod bottling of Clynelish single malt, which has been aged for 14 years. Distilled in June 2004, it spent its days in a pair of bourbon barrels, until it was independently bottled in May 2019. Only 404 bottles of the Highlander were released for the Chieftain's bottling series. Expect all those hallmark waxy notes that we've come to know and love from Clynelish here.
Toasted oats, golden syrup on pancakes and waxy orange peel, ginger spiced stewed apple.
Orange blossom, beeswax, oak spice and tobacco, sweet malt, peaches and vanilla cream.
Oak char, chocolate spread on toast and cinnamon.
