Description

The Autumn 2026 release in Decadent Drinks’ Equinox & Solstice series is a 10-year-old Clynelish from a 2015 refill hogshead. Bottled at the series’ customary 48.5% ABV, the refill wood keeps the emphasis firmly on Clynelish itself, all wax, minerals, citrus and texture.

Nose

Mineral oil, beeswax and sheep’s wool, with fresh bread, cereal and camphor. Citrus rind brings a brighter edge.

Palate

Lemon peel and plenty of waxy texture, with sweetened cooking oil, a faintly mechanical note and a touch of floral honey. White pepper builds towards the back.

Finish

Soft mineral notes, citrus and a lingering waxy fade.
