An indie bottling of single malt from the Clynelish distillery, drawn from a single hogshead cask which matured the whisky from 1997 to 2018. After maturation, it was bottled by Wemyss Malts and given the name Chewy Pineapple Crisps as a nod towards its flavour profile. 261 bottles were produced.
Well, yes, there are pineapple notes here. Yummy, yummy pineapple notes.
Soon enough you'll start to find notes of barley, caraway and sweet coastal smoke stepping out from behind the pineapple.
A lingering salinity, mixed with... Pineapple (of course).
